DHHS to Expand Access to Substance Abuse Treatment in 2017The Department of Health and Human Services has plans to expand access to substance abuse treatment in Maine.Using state and federal funding, DHHS will be adding 359 medication-assisted treatment slots across the state.Each slot will include methadone or suboxone treatment coupled with counseling.
