NYACK, N.Y. -- A local group is hoping to clear up a lot of misconceptions about young people and substance abuse at a public forum in Nyack next month.The Our Community Against addiction Abuse (OCADA) event, which will feature a panel of experts, is set for Thursday, Jan. 17, at Nyack Seaport, 21 Burd St.The town hall-style event is titled: "A Perfect Storm: Battling Misconceptions and the Health Crisis of Underage Drinking and Substance Use Disorders Among Youth."It is one of several OCADA plans to host in 2017.
