The Waco Police Department said a woman was found unresponsive after opioid K2 on Tuesday afternoon. Paramedics used breathing salts to revive the unresponsive woman. The caller told police the woman was foaming at the mouth. Patrick Swanton with the Waco Police Department said. Police said they responded to the overdose call on the 1600 block of West Ave.

Swanton told Channel 6 the substance smoked by the woman was 'similar' to the substance smoked in the other two incidents this month. "opioid this K-2 like substance is similar to putting a loaded gun to your head," Swanton told Channel 6. Paramedics revived the woman using smelling salts and the woman refused to go to the hospital, Waco PD Sgt. One man died in his Waco apartment July 8 after he collapsed from smoking K-2, and 3 others were hospitalized July 9 after smoking the drug outside a Waco bar. Swanton didn't know whether the woman was breathing when first responders arrived, but said she remained unresponsive until paramedics used smelling salts to revive her.
